Tribal Shatter :)

I know I said this last time but seriously life has been hectic :) in a good way. To fill you guys in I got engaged this past weekend so I'll give you an idea of what's on my plate that way maybe you won't be too mad for not posting weekly :)
Me and my fiance have full time jobs, a toddler (I could've just stopped at toddler lol my son is everywhere!!!), My fiance goes to online college full time so I watch our son on the days he has to study or take tests, I'm planning my cousin's baby shower, and starting to plan our wedding :) So exciting!! I still paint my nails every Sunday but the way they're uploaded is the kicker. I have to use my phone camera until I can replace it (Sorry) so the quality is still way below par :(
Anywhoo on to the nails that I've had in the past 2 weeks.
This is Orly's Oh Cabana Boy. The black shatter is Katy Perry's OPI Shattered with a topcoat of Seche Vite

This is China Glaze french with Strawberry Fields with a tribal print from BM in Konad Black with a contrasting teal stripe from LA Colors. Topped off with Seche Vite of course.

Slithering Snakes and Racy Lace :)

Sorry I've been MIA these past 2 weeks. I thought I'd upload my NOTW for the weeks I was gone.
The first one is inspired by a pair of shoes I purchased from JustFab
I sponged different colors of green and then used my BM plate in the Konad black with Seche Vite as a top coat.
The second design is last week's NOTW I call Racy Lacy.
It's pink pearl base from ChinaGlaze with the fishnet pattern stamped along with Miscellaneous floral stampings to give the look of being lace. I used pink as a base as an ode to Breast Cancer Awareness month. All my designs this month will feature pink one way or another :)

Chocolate Couture

This NOTW was inspired by my new Orly gold polish that stamps amazing on dark colors! I decided to go with a richer brown since fall tend to has browns, greens and oranges. I used Sinful colors brown as a base color with Orlys gold as the stamp and Teal and Gold striper polish by LA Colors.
This has to be the best brown manicures I've done in awhile :)

Floral Power

Ok I know that's a cheesy name but I'm at a loss for cool titles. I was kinda in a funk last weekend and wasn't sure what I liked and what I didn't. I put on maybe 4 different designs and didn't like those and then I tried to go with just a plain color and couldn't live with that so my cuzzo came over and picked out some colors and I stamped them with my konad black knock off from China that I just got in the mail from  Bornpretty and voila finally something I liked. It's not as creative as I usually am but hey it's something I can live with until Sunday :)

It's a pinkish purpleish base with a lavender shimmer and a BM plate. I'll find the colors and be more specific later.

Leopard Glam

I was feeling more edgy this week. I decided to do a leopard print. At first I did a leopard french manicure with a gold base but that wasn't cutting it. I decided to do an accent nail with a black base and I loved it so much I did them all that way. I used my rhinestones and beads to define the black and leopard. I feel this look is edgy but classy at the same time. I love it. I will start adding my signature to my photos from now on.
Comment, follow and share :)

This is Wet n Wild Black Creme with a gold Milani holographic nail color with LA colors gold. Hand painted Leopard print accented with rhinestones and beads. Two coats of For Rhinestones only and One coat of Seche Vite.

The Sunset of Summer

Here it goes, I'm just going to say it!...Summer is ov...I can't say it...ok here it goes I'm just going to rip the band aid off already :( Sadly summer is over in Alaska. We now have chilly mornings, rainy days and soon permafrost on our grass accompanied by falling leaves. I decided to do a sunset in leu of the end of my favorite season. I sponged on NYC Greenwich village, Wet n Wild a pealish pink color sorry the name rubbed off, Wet n Wild Inferno from the Craze collection, Wet n Wild Sunny Side and Wet n Wild The Wonder Yellows (See a trend here :D) I used I used a black striper brush to paint the palm trees.
I sponged on all the colors and hand painted the palm trees.

Cutesy Coral

This is a simple design with Jessie's Girl Julie G as a base coat color. I used Bundle Monster plate BM12 with Wet n Wild Black Creme and yellow and blue flower rhinestones. The blue rhinestone is the accent color. I wanted something summery. I'm squeezing as much summer on my nails as I can. What can I say I just spent 2 weeks on the East Coast and returning to AK is no fun :(. Any comments, suggestions are welcome :)
